Pablo Hernandez felt that he had a curse on his life. A marriage he thought would last for life ended abruptly only after three months. When a second attempt at marriage also failed, Pablo could not understand what was going wrong. It seemed as if something or someone was trying to block his life.
"I was depressed, and began to encounter a lot of jealousy towards me at work too, everything I did went wrong," Pablo was desperate for happiness and sought out various girlfriends, but relationships always came to an end. He began to look for help in spiritism and witchcraft, but his life only got worse.
Within a year Pablo had a tragic run of what seemed to be bad luck. Eight car accidents almost claimed his life. One accident caused partial amnesia, the second caused fractures and ruptured spinal discs, and another caused so much damage to his head that he lost all of his teeth. In severe pain and under treatment, Pablo spent $53,000 in medical bills over three years. "The medication wouldn't help me. I just thought, if my life is so full of destruction, why should I live?"
One day Pablo came across The Universal Church and decided to walk in as a service was going on and decided to speak to the pastor afterwards. The pastor encouraged him to come Tuesdays for healing, Fridays for deliverance and Sundays for God's protection in his life and told him that he would begin to see a change. Pablo took the pastor's words seriously and decided to quit his part time job to be able to attend the services.
"I faithfully came and began to notice that life had become calmer - no more accidents. My spine began to heal, the pain in my body went away, and my memory started coming back. I was healed from everything, and I did everything that the pastors recommended. I prayed, fasted and believed in God," says Pablo.
It's been more than nine years since that first day that Pablo came to church. He has not seen even a scratch on his car since then. The cycle of failure has been broken, and God has blessed him with a happy marriage. "I couldn't be happier with the new life God has given me, if I hadn't found Him, I probably wouldn't be here. I found God and he has set me free."
