The fiery trial

Since the beginning of Christianity, God's people have constantly had their faith tested.
Each Christian fights his own personal battle against the desires of the flesh, misunderstandings, loneliness, injustice, in other words, difficult situations pressing hard on every side. And as if it were not enough, there are also the financial, sentimental and family problems...
It was not easy when I started my journey of faith. I remember the disappointment I had in my love life, the loneliness I endured and the judgmental looks and comments made because of my faith - I was considered a fanatic by those I loved most.
Nobody believed in me...
The worst of all is that this phase of my life lasted nearly eight years. When I finally found my other half, my pastor tried to take her away from me and introduce her to his son! Can you believe that?
I was put into the fire even before I started preaching the Gospel. Now, imagine what happened after I started preaching the Gospel... No need to comment!
After 45 years living by faith, this fire is no longer strange to me! It has become my companion...
In the time of the apostles, the Holy Spirit already warned true Christians, saying:
"Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you." (1 Peter 4.12)
The most glorious part is that no one is tested if he is not truly loved!
Those who are of God endure the fire because they are partakers of Jesus' sufferings.
"If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon." (1 Peter 4.14)
