9th Day of the Daniel Fast for the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit on April 17

Reflections for the 9th day of the Daniel Fast:
And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, they do not belong to Christ. Romans 8:9
Consider this:

Receiving the Holy Spirit is not an option, it’s every Christian’s obligation.

There are two flowers that standout in this picture:

One seems to be full of life because of its bright colors; the other is dried up and ugly, apparently it’s dead and to make matters worse, it’s "tied up".

But if we use our intelligence, we’ll remember that despite being dried up and "tied up", the ugly one still holds seeds capable of producing life. Over time, it will be back to its original beauty and the other one will also have to go through the same process of becoming ugly and colorless.

God, in His infinite wisdom, understands that every human being carries within themselves good seeds, even though they may appear to be bad.

That’s why He sent His Son, so that through His blood, our ugly cruel past is washed away. And all those who sincerely surrender their lives to Him are entitled to receive His Spirit and have His Divine character.
