Reflections for the 10th day:
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own. I Corinthians 6:19
Consider this:
Because our bodies are the temples of the Holy Spirit, they require special care. I’m not talking about being excessively vain. I’m referring to moral and spiritual zeal. After all, we stop belonging to ourselves and start serving as God's dwelling place.
This picture shows:
39 years have passed...
Our appearances have changed. A lot! ...
We have undergone many trials and tribulations,
and learned to persevere through them.
Through our perseverance, we gained experience and then came the unmistakable hope.
Through the good and the bad times, we always stuck together and supported each other.
What’s our secret?
The Holy Spirit.
How?
The Lord Jesus cooked us in the same pot like two potatoes and kneaded us together in marriage. He then poured His milk, the Holy Spirit, and made mashed potatoes out of us for the consumption of His honor and glory.
