Meditation for the 14th day:
Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. John 17:11
Consider this:
Unity among those who’ve been born and sealed by God is what’s made a difference in this world. They are the salt of the Earth and the light of the World.
Divisions and factions within denominations are selfish acts of servants who are only interested in serving themselves. How can the Holy Spirit inspire people who promote divisions, disorders and confusions? God isn’t the author of confusion.
During His prayer, the Son asks the Father to protect His disciples from the lack of unity.
Only God’s Spirit is able to keep the church united in one faith, One Spirit, one thought and one ultimate goal.
The Kingdom of God is built upon discipline. If discipline isn’t found among the members of the body of Christ, unclean and deceptive spirits will begin to dominate.
Just like God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are One, as Christians, we are compelled to do the same. Otherwise, we won’t belong to the Lord Jesus Christ.
