The video below is one of the biggest absurdities I’ve seen in recent times.
The person speaking is a newscaster; he’s presenting a live news broadcast for one of the Organizações Globo, the same organization that publishes Veja magazine, Folha de S. Paul and Estadão.
This video clearly shows the spirit of the Brazilian “elites”.
(The video is in portuguese)
I wonder how many media owners would like to publicly say the same thing but don’t because they don’t have the courage to do so. These were the same people who were against President Dilma Rouseff’s victory. And to imagine that she counted on the support from some of these evangelical leaders or to better put it, old prophets!
They were all against the continuity of a government in favor of the lower classes. They look down on the poor.
The Lord Jesus said, "For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me (.. .) Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me" (Matthew 25:35-40).
I, in the name of my God, urge all those who are faithful to these words to revolt against the Pharaoh’s spirit of slavery that has been implanted among the people of God. This same spirit continues to do today what it used to do in the past.
If the Lord Jesus were physically living in Brazil today, who do you think He would support: “the elites” that hate the poor or the underprivileged majority?
